M-Files Community
M-Files Community is the central hub of all M-Files training resources. It provides access to a whole host of useful resources:
- Product News: Be the first to learn about new M-Files features, bug fixes, and releases.
- Pulse Newsletter: Hear directly from M-Files about upcoming releases, webinars, events, customer success stories, and more.
- Discussion Forums: Interact with other M-Files customers (or partners) to discover answers to specific questions, best practices, and more.
- Product Support: Access user guides, policies, knowledge base articles, and learning resources—for end users as well as administrators and developers. This includes access to M-Files Learning, which you’ll learn about below.
M-Files Community is your “one-stop shop” for questions about your M-Files software, whether you’ve used M-Files for years or just implemented it yesterday. On this website, you can keep up with the latest news and stay connected to other M-Files users just like you!
M-Files Learning
While M-Files Community supports customers at all stages of their M-Files journey, most of M-Files Learning is specifically geared towards new users. M-Files Learning is divided into two areas: M-Files Help Center and M-Files Academy.
M-Files Help Center is a website dedicated to connecting users with helpful resources and answers to their questions. It’s available to all M-Files customers—and all users at your company—no matter what vendor provides your software. It provides videos and step-by-step guides to understanding and maximizing your M-Files solution. The Help Center organizes its information into “Getting Started,” “Beyond Basics,” and “Tips and Tricks,” which progress a user from introductory to more advanced topics.
M-Files Academy
M-Files Academy is a collection of self-paced educational “courses” designed to train administrators and “super users” on the intricacies of the software. It also includes courses unique to M-Files partners.
Customers with the M-Files Platform edition have access to M-Files Academy for up to 100 users. The initial admin user will receive a welcome email to the Academy. Customers on older pricing models can get access by purchasing a Training Subscription for a year (the subscription is renewable); they will receive a welcome email upon purchase. M-Files partners get access to M-Files Academy for free.
Once you’ve received an email welcoming you to M-Files Academy, you can follow these steps to access the platform:
- Go to https://customer-mfiles.talentlms.com/.
- Fill in your username and password.
- Click Login.
Courses we recommend are M-Files Design Essentials, M-Files User, M-Files Super User, M-Files Business Administrator, and M-Files IT Administrator, depending on your role. There are many more courses available, of course, so look around to find the courses that best fit your unique role.
