Requirements for Upgrading to M-Files for Outlook Pro
If you’re a current M-Files customer, let’s go over the system requirements for you to be able to take advantage of this new solution. M-Files for Outlook Pro includes an Outlook Add-in and a vault application. You must also have M-Files Web set up if you have an on-premises environment.
In order to upgrade:
- Your M-Files Server needs to be at version June ‘24 or later
- Your M-Files Plugin for Outlook must be at version 24.9.35.0 or later
- You must have Microsoft Outlook 2016 or later (or Microsoft 365 Outlook)
M-Files for Outlook Pro uses the same license as the standard integration, so if you already have a license for M-Files for Outlook, you don’t have to get a new license.
